Glory to God – Christmas 1 min Short

A short motion graphic video set to music, an introduction to a carol service. The purpose was to introduce the service and give a very quick message about what the carols service was about – the birth of Jesus.

The starting point was an edit of Hillsong Music’s ‘Glory to God’, from their first Christmas album, and a simple picture of the nativity scene. This was then layered in to Apple’s Motion 3D and animated together with scripture text. From start to completion this project took around 9 hours to complete.

Scriptures referenced:

Isaiah 9 – For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
